Getting Ready for Guests {Video 2 of 3}
Missed our first video? Check it out here: Building the Perfect Party Platter {Video 1 of 3}!
We’re continuing on our 4th of July spirit week with a new wrap recipe from Flatout founder Stacey Marsh today! The second video installment below takes a look at a classic turkey wrap.
Tip of the Day: Put the lettuce down BEFORE the dressing to keep food fresh for hours and avoid a soggy wrap when you finally serve the platter at your party!
As always, we hope you enjoy hearing from Stacey and stay tuned for the recipe at the end of this post!
Flatout Classic Turkey Wrap
Ingredients (serves 1):
- 1 Harvest Wheat Flatout wrap
- 1/2 tbsp. cream cheese
- 1/2 tbsp. ranch dressing
- 2 romaine lettuce leaves
- 4 slices deli turkey
- 1-2 slices cheddar cheese
- 3 sliced tomatoes
- Optional: green peppers
Directions:
Mix together the cream cheese and ranch dressing. Spread a thin layer on the top half of the Flatout wrap. This will make it easier for the wrap to hold together when you roll!
Build the rest of the ingredients at the bottom of the Flatout wrap (as shown by Stacey). When all ingredients are set, pack the Flatout wrap like a sleeping bag – nice and compact – and then roll up with your fingertips. Slice into pinwheels with a serrated knife and spread on a party platter to prepare for serving. You can make it the day of or the night before – whichever is easiest!
We look forward to sharing the final video installment with you. Check back tomorrow!
